You do get PAID for missions. You get BONUSES. It's not all "I work for 10,000 missions and get crappy offers!". How much money, tech 2 components, station containers (OK maybe that one's not so useful...), bounties, named item drops etc do you get in all that time? You get PAID for your job, and get BONUSES as well! The offers are on top. Take them or leave them.
If you're only doing the missions for the faction ships then by the time you have the LP saved up, you'll also have the ISK to buy the tags at 100 mil each. So stop saying that you're not getting rewarded for all your hard work. If everyone could just get a faction ship after a couple of months agent whoring then they'd be so common they'd lose their appeal.
lolololol!! Okay, as a social fanatic (negotiations, connections, and social 5) I would know for a good fact that there is no possible way that anyone can come up with that money from missions. you can do 1000 level 4 missions, have 1 million sp, and still get bunk in pay. Why am I so poor? Because I don't get any money from my work. Even the longer, more drawn out missions that last an hour or more without help (and there's another thing I'm about to comment on) only pay little over 1 million, and often enough never get the bonus as a result that (here it is) nobody is willing to help you complete it for the small portion that they will get as a reward for their service. If this was meant to be a team mission type, then there should be the availability of a popup to invite others to join in the mission, for the same reward, lp, and the like, or at least make a level four mission as worthwhile in doing as the same amount of time spent mining, which can also be done in groups for much more cash and/or minerals, which can be used at less expense in Time to gain something that you can get through a mission done by some halfway intelligent other that actually did the work. Or better yet, go kill something for bounty, and just camp there and gain named items that everyone can buy off you, increasing the money from the cycle.
The only 'grown' isk (Something that isn't traded for other things on market, the baseline of inflation) comes from selling minerals or trade goods to NPCs for profit, from agents for missions, and from NPC bounties. Agent missions are currently at the bottom of this list, mining and trade is next, as I mentioned. What do you mean, Paid? The only money in agent runs is the stuff we get for our LP, and the profit from that is nonexistent with all the extra things that are required outside of the LP. Even then we're likely looking at a loss. What you're talking about is basically working for agents solely for their LP, and using the money to enforce that LP.
Tell me this, would you work for a company in real life for money, and get praised, and then, so that you could get a raise, pay them everything they paid you, and then some, to get that raise? I wouldn't bother, and I wouldn't be able to. I need food, water, a place to live in warmth, and this all costs money. Even if I didn't need all that, I wouldn't. Do you see the sense in that? I simply do missions now in the hopes that in the future there will be something there for me to bother with. No other reason other than to gain standing and hope for something worthwhile. And of course, when I'm bored of the same old mine for money gig. CCP can do better than that.
